WHAT IS WMI / WATER METHANOL INJECTION?

Water/Methanol/Alcohol injection commonly referred to as WMI is a system that allows Water, Methanol or Alcohol to be injected into the pre-throttle system to allow for higher octane and cooler intake temps while still running pump fuel such as 98 RON. WMI can also be added with flex fuel systems and E85 build for further cooling and octane benefits.

WHY DO I NEED IT?

WMI will allow an engine to make greater amounts of power on pump gas such as 98 RON. The effect is similar to running 100 octane race gas or E85 fuel all the time with the additional cooling benefits allowing for more power than you can make on race gas or E85 alone.

MODE x bootmod3 Compatible.

The key to a safe and effective WMI setup is tuning integration. The MODE x BMS WMI kit is the only system available that will easily integrates with the MODE x bootmod3 ultimate tuning bundle without any additional controllers being required to operate the WMI system.

The MODE x BMS Ultimate WMI kit includes a high quality Aquatec WMI pump made to our specifications, high speed solenoid with leak-free compression fittings, a WMI filter, and all required wiring and mounting hardware including a 2 Gallon tank with pump mount.

    With our 2 gallon universal tank the WMI pump mounts directly to the tank for the ultimate easy to install tank. This tank is compact allowing for a wide range of mounting on any horizontal surface in the trunk. Offered in black and in clear to allow visually checking the fluid level. Works with all DDP 5800 pumps. Made in USA.

    Comes with standard 2 way vented black plastic cap. 
    Upgraded billet lid with 1-way check valve available below.
