Remus Exhaust solution for the BMW M240i is an Axle-back or GPF-back exhaust system L/R quad:

Sport exhaust centered (absorption principle) for L/R system with 2 integrated valves for BMW 240i(x) Coupe incl. (EC-) approval.

Consisting of a sport exhaust centered (EC type approval), connection tube and one of five tail pipe sets.

For non GPF models this is an axle back configuration - with pipework extending up near your rear wheel axle.

For GPF models this is a GPF-back system retaining your emissions compliant gas particulate filters.

ATTENTION: The use of racing exhaust products and products which do not have EC approval is generally not permitted on public roads.

The Remus exhaust system includes an additional original BMW actuator and a Y-cable for connecting both actuators with the onboard electronics of the vehicle.  This retains all of your original BMW functionality when you select driving modes.  The valved Remus exhaust system integrates and functions just as BMW intended via your onboard controls. 

The slick straight six will now have the ultimate growl when you select Sports plus mode and cue the sport exhaust valve to open.   Giving the muscular looking M240i coupe a sound to match.  Reverting back to eco mode will subdue the beast and allow the M240i to be more socially acceptable to your neighbours.  

The activation of the valves is carried out using the original vehicle onboard electronics.
