The MODE x bootmod3 Tuning Bundle to suit S63TU - BMW F10 M5 F12 F13 M6 F85 X5M F86 X6M Tune allows you to tune your own BMW in a totally safe and practical environment. We include everything you need to easily install and un-install a performance tune of your choice onto your BMW's DME (ECU). This allows you to quickly and easily remove and re-lock your BMW's DME before a service, repair, trade-in or sale. The MODE x bootmod3 Tuning Bundle includes 1 tune file credit which allows you to select from various tunes including Stage 1 or Stage 2 with 95 or 98 RON fuel, as well as exclusive BMW OE tuning files for DME (Engine) & DCT/AUTO (Transmission) where available for a surreal OEM+ experience.

It is a convenience option that removes the need for using a laptop in the car when using bootmod3's features. If you're looking to simply load a tune on the car without much data-logging and monitoring then using your laptop is the ticket for you.

      BEFORE YOU FLASH / SERIAL ACTIVATION

      bootmod3 software license purchase by default includes 1 paid OTS map and you can choose the one most appropriate for your hardware modifications and octane upon license activation. It also includes any other FREE maps listed in the OTS Maps screen.

      In case your modifications or octane change or you'd like to try a different OTS map more suited to your needs we offer this Unlimited OTS Maps Bundle which provides flash access to ALL of the OTS Maps available in the OTS Maps screen for your vehicle.

      All maps include FREE Software updates.

      HOT TO INSTALL MODE X BM3

      bootmod3 takes around 15-30 minutes to activate, unlock, setup, install and adjust on your vehicle. Detailed instructions for the installation process can be found here.

      MODE provides Pro Install, Setup and Custom Tunes Australia Wide via. our Official MODE Dealer Network for an additional cost. You can find a dealer in your are here.

      CAN I RE-SELL OR TRANSFER MY BM3 LICENSE?

      Yes! bootmod3 is the only flash solution where the license can be resold and/or transferred to a new VIN when/if you decide to move on for any reason. Having re-sale value is a great advantage to choosing bootmod3 for your tuning which is NOT available with any other flash tune.

      • License transfer is restricted to the original order purchase and buyer. Transferred licenses cannot be transferred more than once.
      • Any previously purchased OTS maps and custom tunes by the original buyer are not transferrable due to map data incompatibilities between cars.
      • To transfer a license you need to flash the car with the Stock Tune AND DME RELOCKED using bootmod3 interface. Further information on the transfer process can be found here.
      FLASHING BACK TO STOCK AND LOCKING THE DME WITH ANY OTHER FLASH TOOLS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. (Must be returned to stock using bootmod3)

      MODE ULTIMATE OBD MOBILE DATA & Wi-Fi AT THE SAME TIME! (excluding Android OS)

      To use Mobile Data at the same time as the MODE Ultimate OBD WiFi Flash Adapter (For example while downloading and flashing MODE x bootmod3 bm3 Ultimate Tuning Maps) you will need to adjust the Wi-Fi settings on your phone.

      Android OS (all versions) turns off your Internet (mobile data) connection the moment you plug in the ENET cable or connect to the BM3_NET WiFi network. This is unfortunate default Android behavior. iOS keeps the internet just like Windows and macOS and even though all computers should behave this way, Android does not.

      1. Go to Settings → Wi-Fi → ENET_WIFI → Configure IP: Change this from Automatic to Manual and enter the following network settings:

        1. IP: 192.168.16.109 (or IP of your exact adapter)
          *Check when plugged in by going to Wi-Fi on your Smartphone*

        2. Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0

        3. Router: <leave empty>

      Terms and Conditions

      1. Your points and rewards have no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash.

      2. Under the points programme, one point will be rewarded for every $1 AUD spent on eligible purchases of products on our website. The current redemption value of the reward points is 1 point = 1 cent.

      3. All Reward Points will expire 1 year from the date they were awarded to your account, following which such unused and expired reward points will be automatically deducted from the balance of your reward points at the relevant time and you will no longer be able to access or use them.

      4. If, after you have earned reward points on a product, you later require a refund, the reward points you earned in respect of the refunded product will be deducted from your account when the products have been received by us and your payment has been refunded.
