IMPORTANT NOTICE: This service is only for hard locked DMEs that have a production date of 6/2020 or later. The DME production date and vehicle chassis production dates are not the same. Please verify your DME date before sending it in.

As many of you are aware, BMW (and Toyota, for the Supra owners) has started adding additional software to the cars, that prevent flash tuning by OBD2. With this service, you now have the ability to mail your DME (ECU) into MODE Auto Concepts for a FEMTO DME Unlock service, to then flash Stage 1, Stage 2 or higher with MODE x bootmod3 / bm3, MHD or other flasher tools.

After purchasing, you will receive instructions on where to send your DME into for service. Once received, the DME will be FEMTO unlocked and re-shipped within 15 business days. MODE will cover the cost of return shipping and it will be sent out with overnight shipping. Please note,

MODE Auto Concepts is not responsible for DMEs that are received dead on arrival or damaged in shipping. The customer is responsible for shipping to MODE and the cost covers return shipping and insurance. Additionally, please keep in mind that if a dealer does a software update to the car, it's possible for them to re-lock the DME (both in-person and remotely), which would require the DME to need to be unlocked again. This service is for 1 FEMTO unlock. If a dealer re-locks the DME, an additional FEMTO DME unlock service would need to be purchased. Furthermore, this cost does NOT include labor for MODE Auto Concepts to remove or reinstall a DME, as this is a 100% mail-in procedure.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Your points and rewards have no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash.

  2. Under the points programme, one point will be rewarded for every $1 AUD spent on eligible purchases of products on our website. The current redemption value of the reward points is 1 point = 1 cent.

  3. All Reward Points will expire 1 year from the date they were awarded to your account, following which such unused and expired reward points will be automatically deducted from the balance of your reward points at the relevant time and you will no longer be able to access or use them.

  4. If, after you have earned reward points on a product, you later require a refund, the reward points you earned in respect of the refunded product will be deducted from your account when the products have been received by us and your payment has been refunded.

  5. Reward points are for your personal use only and cannot be transferred, brought, sold or in any way traded.

  6. You can check your points and rewards on your online account. In case of any inconsistency between the membership points reflected in your account and our internal records, the latter shall prevail.

  7. To spend reward points on our website, you must log in to your customer account before selecting the products you wish to purchase. When you enter your payment details, select how many reward points you wish to redeem from the options available.

  8. If you have applied points towards an order, and you wish to partially cancel items off the order, the reward points will be partially refunded as well for your future orders.
