This tuning bundle allows you to tune your Supra in a safe, practical environment using the bootmod3 cloud platform, mobile app and supported OBD connection hardware.

We include everything needed to install and uninstall a performance tune on your Supra's DME/ECU. You can quickly return the vehicle to stock and re-lock the DME before a service, repair, trade-in or sale where supported.

The MODE x bootmod3 Tuning Bundle includes 1 paid OTS map/tune file credit, allowing you to select the tune most appropriate for your B48 Supra's hardware and fuel octane during activation. Additional free maps marked as FREE in the OTS Maps screen are also included.

OTS maps and activation

Your bootmod3 software license includes 1 paid OTS map by default. Choose the map that matches your hardware modifications and fuel octane during license activation.

If your modifications or octane change, or you want access to more than one map, the Unlimited OTS Maps Bundle gives you flash access to all OTS maps available for your vehicle.

All maps include free software updates.

bootmod3 platform highlights

World's first, most advanced and widely adopted cloud-based flash tuning platform for BMW F and G series vehicles, used here for the B48 Toyota Supra platform.

bootmod3 is a cloud-based solution with a web interface for laptop use and mobile apps built for iOS and Android. It has been developed and tested in-house since its debut in November 2016, with new features and updates added regularly.

CustomROM features

  • AntiLag: build boost while stationary or rolling using steering wheel cruise button input and accelerator pedal input for instant boost when roll racing or launching.
  • Map Switching: switch maps on the fly using steering wheel cruise control buttons. Flash once and access up to 4 switchable maps from the steering wheel, changing calibration from one map slot to the next.
  • Flex Fuel Tuning: tune for ethanol blends using a Flex Fuel sensor to report ethanol percentage to the DME, allowing the tune to manage the blend without re-flashing.

  • Datalogging: log over 80 advanced RAM channels and hundreds of other available channels with very high throughput.
  • Ethanol In-Dash Indicator: software changes allow ethanol content reported by the Flex Fuel sensor to be checked through the vehicle dash on the RPM gauge.
  • Transmission Torque Limiter: transmission torque limiter disabled in software where supported.

How to install MODE x bootmod3

bootmod3 takes around 15-30 minutes to activate, unlock, set up, install and adjust on your vehicle. Detailed instructions for the installation process can be found here.

MODE provides pro install, setup and custom tunes Australia-wide through our official MODE Dealer Network for an additional cost. You can find an authorised dealer here.

Can I resell or transfer my bootmod3 license?

Yes. bootmod3 is the only flash solution where the license can be resold and/or transferred to a new VIN when you decide to move on. This resale value is not available with other flash tune options.

  • License transfer is restricted to the original order purchase and buyer.
  • Transferred licenses cannot be transferred more than once.
  • Previously purchased OTS maps and custom tunes by the original buyer are not transferable due to map data incompatibilities between cars.
  • To transfer a license, flash the car with the Stock Tune and DME Relocked using the bootmod3 interface. Further information can be found here.
Important: flashing back to stock and locking the DME with any other flash tools will not be accepted. The vehicle must be returned to stock using bootmod3.

MODE Ultimate OBD mobile data and Wi-Fi settings

To use mobile data at the same time as the MODE Ultimate OBD WiFi Flash Adapter, such as while downloading and flashing MODE x bootmod3 Ultimate Tuning Maps, adjust the Wi-Fi settings on your phone.

Android OS turns off your internet/mobile data connection when you plug in the ENET cable or connect to the BM3_NET WiFi network. iOS keeps internet access active, as do Windows and macOS.

iOS Wi-Fi settings

  1. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi > ENET_WIFI > Configure IP.
  2. Change from Automatic to Manual.
  3. Enter IP: 192.168.16.109, or the IP of your exact adapter.
  4. Enter Subnet Mask: 255.255.0.0.
  5. Leave Router empty.

You can check the adapter IP when plugged in by going to Wi-Fi on your smartphone. For more mobile data settings, click here.


DME unlock note: DME removal from the engine bay is not required for supported vehicles. Vehicles with November 2019+ software updates may require DME unlock on the bench to enable OBD flashing. If you have a November 2019+ software update or a 06/2020+ production vehicle, please contact us for support before purchasing.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Your points and rewards have no cash value and may not be exchanged for cash.

  2. Under the points programme, one point will be rewarded for every $1 AUD spent on eligible purchases of products on our website. The current redemption value of the reward points is 1 point = 1 cent.

  3. All Reward Points will expire 1 year from the date they were awarded to your account, following which such unused and expired reward points will be automatically deducted from the balance of your reward points at the relevant time and you will no longer be able to access or use them.

  4. If, after you have earned reward points on a product, you later require a refund, the reward points you earned in respect of the refunded product will be deducted from your account when the products have been received by us and your payment has been refunded.

  5. Reward points are for your personal use only and cannot be transferred, brought, sold or in any way traded.

  6. You can check your points and rewards on your online account. In case of any inconsistency between the membership points reflected in your account and our internal records, the latter shall prevail.

  7. To spend reward points on our website, you must log in to your customer account before selecting the products you wish to purchase. When you enter your payment details, select how many reward points you wish to redeem from the options available.
