MODE BMW G80 M3 COMPETITION | PROJECT G8X

When the news dropped we knew we wanted it, the latest iteration of the BMW M3.

Our research of the latest platform begun; The new G8X Competition would feature the successor to the S55 engine coined the 'S58' a 503HP Turbocharged inline-6 developed by BMW's M Division strapped to ZF 8HP Automatic Transmission. The S58 is a 3.0-litre displacement, twin mono-scroll turbochargers, closed-deck engine for unrivalled rigidity, 3D-printed cylinder head, and a high-pressure fuel injection system capable of up to 350 bar we knew the new M3 G80 Sedan and M4 G82 Coupe & G83 Convertible meant business.

To the dealership we literally went running to get our order in; A few months later MODE was one of the first companies in the World to experience this truly marvellous machine, an incredible tribute to the five 'M3' models that came prior, touching on each aspect that us BMW lovers admire, with subtle hints and styling cues paying homage to the M3's history throughout yet impeccably packaged in what could arguably be the most high tech and modern sports sedan on the market today.

We have so thoroughly enjoyed further developing the latest M3 G8X into an even more capable and stunning iteration of the ever so famous M3, and must thank BMW for delivering yet another truly iconic combustion engine BMW M3.

MODE 'Project G8X' Modifications

A careful list of modifications were curated to highlight what is already such an impressive vehicle. Please note at the time this vehicle was modified careful consideration was taken into account ensuring owners were able to potentially enjoy all aspects of ownership including BMW Service Plan and Factory Warranty.
