Customer Submitted MODE Build 'OI MOVE' Golf MK7.5 GTI

This car is Mk7.5 facelift Golf GTI with APR stage 3 map. Stage 3 involved in; bigger turbo (IS38 Golf R turbo), cold air carbon intake with larger elbow pipes, MODE 3” downpipe as well as the catback with a larger diameter pipe. The direction of the modifications was clean, subtle street car themed to replicate 400gti concept. MODE design and Maxton products were mainly used for the cosmetic mods.

What is 400GTI?: 400GTI concept was inspired by Volkswagen’s Golf “R400” Mk7 project that was introduced in 2015 but later cancelled due to blaming the diesel-gate of TDI engines. “400” digits refers to the engine output of 400BHP, same as how R400 was named by VW. APR (tuning company) claims that their Stage 3 file, with Octane 98 setup, produces 396BHP with the supporting mods (equivalent output to R400). Recently, titanium exhaust mid pipe was added for saving weight and I am continuously working on weight reduction of my car such as 2-piece rotors with monoblock calipers, forged rims and alloy lower control arms etc to reduce unspring weight of the car.
